![]() In such case it would be much easier: yes it would be worthwile, and yes there is a high chance of issues, so plan your recovery. Of course it would be different when your question was "I am running 6.39 and I want to upgrade to 6.47.8, is it worthwile and is there a risk of issues". There are so many capabilities and so many variations in config that it really is impossible to advise in these cases. However, it may well be that you do not experience that bug and thus do not need to upgrade for that reason. I recently updated a router from 6.47.1 to 6.47.7 because I got hit by a bug that was introduced in 6.47 (the problem with l2tp connects from the same address). Should I leave it as is or upgrade? Router is in production with 1 BGP session and 3 or 4 ports in use. I checked change logs and there doesn't seem to be any security fixes since then. I'm currently not experiencing any issues, bugs or any other problems yet. I have an RB1100AHx4 running on 6.47 for about 185 days now, which is when that version was released. Yes, firmware was updated after upgrading RouterOS and subsequently restarted several times. ![]() Unknown-multicast-flood=yes broadcast-flood=yes tag-stacking=no bpdu-guard=no trusted=no multicast-router=temporary-query fast-leave=noġ interface=ether3 bridge=bridge priority=0x80 path-cost=10 internal-path-cost=10 edge=auto point-to-point=auto learn=auto horizon=none hw=yesĢ interface=ether4 bridge=bridge priority=0x80 path-cost=10 internal-path-cost=10 edge=auto point-to-point=auto learn=auto horizon=none hw=yesģ interface=ether5 bridge=bridge priority=0x80 path-cost=10 internal-path-cost=10 edge=auto point-to-point=auto learn=auto horizon=none hw=yes Please keep this forum topic strictly related to this particular RouterOS release.Ĭode: Select all - Testing] > int bridge port print detailįlags: X - disabled, I - inactive, D - dynamic, H - hw-offloadĠ interface=ether2 bridge=bridge priority=0x80 path-cost=10 internal-path-cost=10 edge=auto point-to-point=auto learn=auto horizon=none hw=yesĪuto-isolate=no restricted-role=no restricted-tcn=no pvid=1 frame-types=admit-all ingress-filtering=no unknown-unicast-flood=yes If you experience version related issues, then please send supout file from your router to File must be generated while router is not working as suspected or after some problem has appeared on device To upgrade, click "Check for updates" at /system package in your RouterOS configuration interface, or head to our download page: *) wireless - added support for U-NII-2 US and Canada country profiles for mANTBox series devices *) winbox - sort IPv6 firewall "chain" parameter entries alphabetically *) winbox - show "usb-type" option on all boards that have it *) winbox - show "usb-bus" option on all boards that have it *) winbox - show "System/RouterBOARD/Mode Button" on devices that have such feature *) winbox - show "System/Health" only on boards that have health monitoring *) winbox - do not allow MAC address changes on LTE interfaces *) winbox - added "tx-rx-1024-max" counter under "Interface/Overall-Stats" for CRS3xx devices *) winbox - added "tls-mode" parameter under "CAPsMAN/Security Cfg." menu *) winbox - added "reformat-hold-button-max" parameter under "System/RouterBOARD/Settings" menu *) winbox - added "operator" parameter under "Interface/LTE" menu *) upgrade - do not try installing packages if download was not completed *) system - replace "3" in superscript to "^3" on RBD53GR devices *) sstp - fixed "idle-timeout" on TILE and CHR devices *) quickset - fixed wireless client "uptime" counter in "Home Mesh" mode *) profile - fixed process classification on x86 systems (introduced in v6.47) *) metarouter - fixed directory entry reporting *) ike1 - allow using "my-id" parameter with XAuth *) dns - improved stability with large table of static records *) disk - improved disk management service stability when receiving bogus packets *) bridge - fixed BPDU guard port disable/enable on HW offloaded interfaces *) branding - fixed imported skin presence *) bgp - treat route target with AS 65535 as two byte AS RouterOS version 6.47.8 has been released in public "stable" channel!ġ) Remember to make backup/export files before an upgrade and save them on another storage device Ģ) Make sure the device will not lose power during upgrade process ģ) Device has enough free storage space for all RouterOS packages to be downloaded.
